Tumblr (3.0; @lisatolcher)http://www.lisatolcher.com/<img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lztyenI7ik1qe65tfo1_500.jpg"/><br/><br/><p><strong>Last Days: Open Studio</strong></p> <p>Hosting my first solo-show in the confines of my home, with the help of my beautiful partner, her mum and my mentor, West; it was an experience of a life time!  Setting up began 4 days earlier, with pieces being framed, the finishing touches of canvas pieces being hung.  It was an all-day event.  </p> <p><img alt="0.jpg" src="webkit-fake-url://84758846-9639-4D12-9A25-385803A31A54/0.jpg"/></p> <p><img alt="0.jpg" src="webkit-fake-url://E894136C-8940-4DA2-A46B-DAF180D0D09D/0.jpg"/></p> <p>The day before, I picked up my business cards from Stickup Industries.  Beautiful little things!</p> <p><img src="webkit-fake-url://55244D38-F414-4CD4-91A5-AFBCF7114589/image.tiff"/></p> <p>And closer to the day, we spent the time cleaning up the place and getting Sangria and mocktails (as well as cookies!) ready for consumption.  <em>Nom Nom Nom.</em></p> <p>I am so grateful to the 45 or so friends who came along that night.  I, and I hope everyone else, had such a rad-tastic time!  23 pieces were bought, and one more was “nabbed” by Jen.  (If I didn’t say I had to sell work - she would “buy” them all!).</p> <p><img src="webkit-fake-url://6951487A-5DE6-42E6-AB1E-7F597CED8168/image.tiff"/></p> <p><em>(above image is work NOT nabbed by Jen :p)</em></p> <p><em><br/></em></p> <p>I still have some work available for those of you who couldn’t make it, or are interstate.
